In 2000, Grand Circle Foundation made a 5 year, $50,000 per year commitment to the World Monument Fund, an organization whose chief mission is to safeguard the heritage of the past by encouraging the restoration and preservation of archaeological sites with historic significance.

At the Valley of the Kings, Grand Circle Foundation funds were used to install protective railings, new lighting, and signage to educate tourists about respecting and maintaining the integrity of artifacts dating back 30 centuries.
