628 children attend the remote public Khatgal School in the Khuvsgul Province of northern Mongolia, of whom over 200 board at the dormitory.

Prior to partnership with GCF, this public school lacked the funding needed to repair the dormitory roof and renovate the bedrooms and bathrooms or even replace the broken headphones needed for English language classes.

A generous $20,000 donation allowed the replacement of the roof and windows of the dormitory and renovation of the bathrooms and showers, allowing the children of nomadic households to obtain a secondary education in a warm, comfortable environment.
