Please review the following guidelines carefully before submitting:

• Proposals must be limited to two (2) pages.
  
  
• For our first cycle in 2012, the deadline for proposal submission is March 16, with notification of decisions to organizations by mid April.


• Grants are one year in duration and range from $500 to $5,000.
  
  
• Grants are awarded only to organizations that focus on youth in the neighborhoods of Roxbury, Dorchester, Mattapan, and Allston.
  
  
• We will be funding only organizations with operating budgets that do not exceed $3 million.
  
  
• The Foundation supports only non-profit organizations holding an active 501(c)(3) status under the IRS Code.
  
  
• Funds requested must be for a specific project. We do not fund general operating expenses or administrative costs, which includes salaries.
